The Aim of the Conference. Since research performance is more and more regarded as a key factor in economic performance and societal welfare, research assessment has become a major issue for a wide range of stakeholders, and there is an increasing concern for research quality and excellence, for transparency, accountability, comparability and competition. Researchers, their papers, research institutions, universities undergo evaluation in terms of all the aspects mentioned above.
Target audience: policy makers of universities, govermental and research institutions; editors of research journals and anyone interested in the latest trends in scientometrics.
