Among academic community, peer-review is taken for granted as an integral part of research having to ensure the quality of any scientific work. This is also applied for the quality of peer-review, which has been an object of ongoing discussions in the last decade.

The following questions are going to be discussed:
– the quality of peer-review and the factors defining it (reviewers, particularity of a review, author loyalty, etc.);
– how the digital era and new technologies reshaped the processes of peer review;
– new initiatives and indicators of peer-review quality: myth or reality;
– is it possible to measure the quality of peer-review?
