The conference “Scientometrics Tools: What Do We Know About Them and How Do We Use Them?” organized by The Association of Lithuanian Serials and The Lithuanian Research Library Consortium on 29 April (Friday).
You must have heard about rankings of universities and you know that the evaluation of institutions is carried out in accordance with complex formulas which depend on the indicators of your publications. You must have come across the fact that h-index has become well-known among researchers. At the conference, you will find out more about methods, indicators, tools of research metrics and their practical usage in day-to-day researcher activities.

The aim of the conference is to familiarize the Lithuanian academic society with well-known tools of research metrics abroad, demonstrate their practical usage in day-to-day researcher activities.

The target audience is researchers, establishers of science politics, research evaluators, rectors for research, employees of institution research departments and all interested in this topic.
